Mail Theft

On Monday, Nov. 26, a mail cart readied for the U.S. Postal Service was stolen from the Knutson Campus Center. According to surveillance video, the cart and the mail, were stolen at approximately 5:35 p.m. by an unknown male. The suspect seen on surveillance video is a male wearing glasses, black pants, gray jacket, gray stocking cap, black backpack and a white shirt (see image.) He was last seen walking on the west side of the theatre building. The cart was found abandoned near Hvidsten Hall of Music. 

 

Anything placed in outgoing mail from 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 through 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26 was potentially in the stolen bags.  If you mailed anything during that timeframe you should contact the Concordia Post Office Manager, Paulette Dixon at 218.299.3770.

 

This is a federal crime and is being investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspector, Moorhead Police, and Concordia College Public Safety.
