Suspicious Male on Campus

2021-11-29

Good evening,

At approximately 5 p.m. today, a suspicious male was reported talking to students at the Olson Forum and the Grant Center. In one instance, he tried taking a female into an isolated area but was unsuccessful. A Concordia Public Safety Officer escorted the male from campus at approximately 5:30 p.m. At approximately 7:15 p.m., Concordia Public Safety and Moorhead Police responded to a call that the same male was interrupting the Christmas concert rehearsal in Memorial Auditorium. Video of the unknown male was turned over to police who are now working to identify the individual.

The person is described as a white male in his mid to late 20s, 5'7, 180 lbs, with no facial hair and no glasses. He was wearing a brown jacket with a white Minnesota Twins jersey, jeans, and tennis shoes.

Please report any suspicious activity to Concordia Public Safety at 218-299-3123. Do not approach people acting in a suspicious manner. In an emergency, call 9-1-1.

Thank you,

Concordia Public Safety
